“Pleasantly surprised”

Our hotel in Hanoi booked this hotel so we had no idea what to expect. Wow! Very pleasantly surprised! It is a big roomy hotel with an airy spacious foyer. The biggest surprise was our room. It is huge by any standard with a large queen bed, fridge, table, chairs, flat screen TV and a spacious bathroom with a bath. The swimming pool is on the second floor and a lovely area to sit and relax and have a swim. Not a lot shade though. Everything is very clean, which is our main criteria when travelling, anddirectlyacross the road is a small shop that sells icy cold soft drink and beer among other essentials you might need! There is also an ATM across the road. We visited the Citadel in the morning but decided to spend the day relaxing at the hotel. It was a good decision and not hard considering the surroundings. There is a lovelyrestaurant/ cafe right right next door which has some of the best food I've had yet in Vietnam! The desk staff are very helpful and I would be more than happy to stay here again. Excellent choice!

We booked this hotel on the basis of TA reviews and again, not disappointed. This is a perfect mid-range hotel. We got a welcome drink, a quiet room with a king-sized bed, bath, free water and fruit, huge window with balcony, plus a plentiful buffet breakfast, an extremely central location , extraordinarily friendly service, and access to a DVD and CD library. Hotels in UK don't even come close, even the expensive ones.

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Hue! The quality of the rooms was excellent, the furnishing tasteful, the value incredible...everything was obviously paid attention. The breakfast buffet was also great - wide variety and everything fresh and yummy. The neighborhood is also nice - mostly pedestrian, with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby to eat at. Rent bikes and explore - crossing the river is easy because the hotel is located quite near one of the main bridges. Far and away the best part of our stay there was the service and the friendliness of the staff - they always asked us how our day had been, responded promptly to any issues with the A/C, etc. and were in general helpful and kindly.
